Our 51st year of Beautiful Music
The "Community Chorus of North Palm Beach County" was founded in 1962 by Shirley Spitzer Anschutz, with Stan Doyle as its first director. As membership grew, the group changed its name to "The North County Choral Society" and eventually to "The Choral Society of the Palm Beaches, Inc."
The Mission of The Choral Society is to promote choral music, contribute to live music entertainment, and provide cultural enrichment to our community. The group is composed of 75 volunteer singers from Palm Beach and Martin Counties. All concerts are held in the Lifelong Learning Society auditorium on the Jupiter campus of Florida Atlantic University.
In recent years the Choral Society has produced major works such as:
Gilbert & Sullivan's HMS Pinafore and The Mikado
 Schubert's Mass in G
 Randall Thompson's Frostiana
 Finzi's In Terra Pax
Vaughan Williams' Fantasia on Christmas Carols
 Haydn's Te Deum
 Rutter's Gloria
 Pinkham's Christmas Cantata
 Mozart's Coronation Mass
